airBaltic Carries 18% More Passengers Through October of 2018

Latvia’s airBaltic’s passengers grew by 18% for the first ten months of 2018 according to a report from the airline. Overall, the airline carried some 3, 553 386 passengers across its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS, and the Middle East. In October 2018, 384,493 passengers or 21% more than last year traveled with airBaltic.

Coming this Summer to Riga, Latvia, scores of sailing ships from 35 countries will compete at the Tall Ships Races 2013 visiting the city for the first time in 10 years. The massive tall ship regatta is expected to deliver hundreds of thousands of visitors to the city, and 99 of the world’s most fabulous sailing vessels are slated to compete July 25 – 28.
