Low cost air carrier Frontier Airlines has cut everything to the bone to provide the lowest possible fares, now the El Cheapo airline has to charge passengers for carry on luggage. As of yesterday all flyers with Frontier will have to spot the carrier a fee of a minumum of $25 bucks for overhead carry-on luggage.

Poland Property Group Sells Shares to Fund Luxury Development

Orco Property Group reported today their intended divestiture of some 108 million shares it holds in subsidiary Orco Germany for an anticipated €55 million euros. According to the news via press release, Orco use the funds to rescue from bankruptcy the so-called Zlota project, a super luxurious residential high rise in Warsaw.

Preferred Hotel Group™ Releases 2014 Q1 Results

Global sales, marketing, and distribution provider Preferred Hotel Group™ has just released their first quarter 2014 revenue results. According to the report the group generated a 19 percent increase in reservations revenue for member hotels compared to last year’s figures. Other key findings of the report show increases in enrollments, spending, and repeat stays via the iPrefer guest loyalty program, and other initiatives. Preferred also added 29 new hotels to their stable of luxury stays worldwide.

Last year’s visa regime caused a drop in visitors from Russia of some 60%, a catastrophic drop for a country so dependent on tourism.
