The news is the latest in a series of extra fees Frontier has had to tack on to keep the fares low. Charing for water, specific seats, Frontier’s CEO David Siegel Emailed the airline’s frequent flyers to tell them the benefits of such charges. These charges are in addition to the $15 to $25 flyers will pay for their first checked bags. What’s more those who book online get other fees tacked on. Frontier is also charging for seats with more legroom and even those close to the front of the aircraft.
Frontier was bought back in December when the airline was in trouble. The new revamped airline just announced Barry L. Biffle as its new president. For more information see the Frontier Airlines media section.
