The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), and the International Trade Centre (ITC) have issued the joint communication “Tourism, Trade and the WTO” affirming the importance of enhanced global cooperation on trade & tourism, and encouraging greater participation of the tourism sector in trade policy.

Three New Hotels to Open in Crimea

Three new hotels comprising nearly 500 places will open in Yalta in the South and in the village of Ordzhonikidze in the East of the Crimean Peninsula in 2017. According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Sergey Strelbitsky, new properties in Ordzhonikidze along with a new Bristol Hotel, will further modernize the peninsula’s accommodation choices.
