In hotel technology news this week, analytics startup SnapShot is touring European cities demonstrating its new flagship product to hotel execs. Yesterday, company CEO Stefan Tweraser was in Vienna at Hotel Melia showing off the free cloud-based data analytics tool.
With an all star cast of hospitality industry entrepreneurs behind it, SnapShot GmbH says its teams are “breaking new ground” in creating a software/cloud platform that cuts the complications of current hotel data analysis. In short, SnapShot is getting rid of the awkward Excel-based analytics mess hoteliers have to deal with on a daily basis, and helping them integrate a powerful and modern dashboard instead.
Tweraser, and SnapShot’s Director of Business Development, Claudia Ebbers (at left) talked with key Vienna hoteliers, along with reporters, on Wednesday. Dr. Tweraser told The Local Austria of his company’s simple goal, “to make hospitality better”. The former Google Germany Director went on:
“It sounds corny, but when you look at the time and effort hoteliers have to invest to really understand their data, and then make good decisions which are better for guests, then having a tool like SnapShot Analytics really will improve the guest experience.”
Designed for both small and large establishments, SnapShot Analytics helps hotels understand the interdependent roles of revenue management, sales and finance in order to make intelligent and profitable decisions.
Focused on scalable solutions for hotels and hospitality companies, SnapShot has seen highly positive reviews and feedback in recent months. With teams from Poland to the UK covering the spectrum, educating hoteliers, building business relationships, and working with hotels to test drive SnapShot’s platform, the Berlin based company leads a sparse list of Big Data companies focused on hotels.
