Greece Ranks Second in the World for Blue Flag Beaches

Greece has been ranked No. 2 in the world ranking for the prestigious Blue Flag quality award for beaches, marinas and sustainable tourism boats, according to the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (EEPF).

Greek Deputy Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mr. Giorgos Nikitiadis was in more talks aimed at boosting Greek tourism last week. This time the yachting industry was the focus of the overall government initiative to great expand Greece’s yachting industry. Nikitiadis highlighted his commitment to seeing that the government supports initiatives that will eventually grow Greece’s tourism industry.
