A collaboration between the National Office of Navigation Canals, the Council of Constanta judet (jurisdiction), Constanta’s City Hall and the Association for the Promotion and Development of Tourism on the Danube Delta Coast, have collectively organized touristic cruises to take advantage of this fascinating waterway.

An interesting travel statistic for the Romanian tourism sector for 2012. It turns out some 218,000 Austrians visited Romania last year, a 14% increase over the previous numbers. The Austrian travelers also spent upwards of €52 million in the country, this according to Romania Insider.
