Low cost air carrier Frontier Airlines has cut everything to the bone to provide the lowest possible fares, now the El Cheapo airline has to charge passengers for carry on luggage. As of yesterday all flyers with Frontier will have to spot the carrier a fee of a minumum of $25 bucks for overhead carry-on luggage.
Aeroflot has taken delivery of a new Boeing 777-300ER named in honor of Anton Chekhov, the famous Russian author. Configured in a three class arrangement, the new 777-300ER also includes increased leg room, an upgraded on-board menu, additional baggage room and more Aeroflot Bonus reward miles. According to reports from Crimea, Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into effect travel promotional legislation including dropping the VAT tax on air travel starting June 1, 2014. Currently the VAT for air travel in Russia is 18%, according to the Voice of Russia.
