News today shows their predictions were correct, as balmy winds brush the faces of residents and visitors standing in full sun for the first time in months. Winter jackets have disappeared, and the parks are once again full of cyclists, tourists, and children playing.

InterContinental Hotels Adds Luxurious Venice Hotel

InterContinental Hotels Group has signed its first luxury hotel in Venice, Italy, the lavish 16th Century Palazzo Nani in the heart of the city. Scheduled to open at the start of 2018, the new IHG property will run under a franchise agreement with Gruppo Cordifin and H.n.h Hotels & Resorts Management.
