The international travel fair “Where Cultures Meet” that takes place in Łódź this weekend (March 17-19) celebrates its 23rd edition this year. The event is organized by Łódź International Fair and takes place at the EXPO Hall Łódź.
Where Cultures Meet (Na styku kultur) has a broad scope, which includes regional and local tourism organizations, companies and organizations that promote national and regional tourism, trade organizations and associations, tour operators and travel agencies, accommodation, insurance agencies, transport, agro-tourism, museums and other attractions, manufacturers of tourism and sports equipment, publications and online portals, as well as other miscellaneous categories.
The 23rd edition has a new format compared to previous editions and includes a lot of new events and attractions for visitors of all ages. There will be theater performances and dance lessons for children, as well as quizzes and puzzles with prizes. Children will also participate in hands-on workshops that teach how to pack for camping. The organizers prepared something for teens and students too: contests, extreme sports, and scout songs. Adults can join a cooking workshop or a competition that will see ladies facing professional chefs. Seniors will enjoy events designed for their age groups: sports activities, lectures, and folk group shows. Visitors of all ages can also participate in meetings with travelers and bloggers, sign up for a photo workshop, or join a cycling tour.
