Mayor Haris Doukas shared his vision: “We have succeeded in making Athens an international sports destination. To welcome and organize successful, major sports events. The athletes and participants enjoy a unique experience as their route passes between historical landmarks. We hope that the weather will once again be an ally in their efforts. The PPC Tour of Hellas is an excellent opportunity to promote cycling as an alternative means of micromobility in the city.”

We seek, through the bicycle, a means so beloved by us since our childhood, to promote sports culture among Greeks, to promote the values of Euf Agonizestai and to make Greece an international sports tourism destination.”
