Rental Center Crete has released an infographic that should serve as a guide to the best beaches on the island. Inspiredly titled “Smart Guide to the Beaches of Crete,” the infographic features 16 of the most famous spots in the sun on the Cretan coasts.
The infographic by Rental Center Crete lists names like Falasarna, Ligres, Kedrodasos, Balos, Seitan Limania, Matala, and Vai, among others.
“Creating this guide was a tough challenge for us. We had to choose only 16 beaches from the 300+ of these beaches,” according to Rental Center Crete. “The coastline is 1046 kilometers long, and Crete covers a total of 8,335 km2 of land,” the authors of the infographic explained.
The Smart Guide to the Beaches of Crete infographic by Rental Center Crete should serve as a starting point to inspire your holiday plans on Crete. Each beach featured in the guide is accompanied by one or more visual clues that describe whether the area is tropical, suitable for windsurfing, good for camping, crowded, ideal for families or Blue Flag.
As Rental Center Crete explained, Crete boasts more than 300 beaches, many of them with Blue Flag certifications, others protected under the Natura 2000 project.
