Earlier this month, Larnaca-based carrier Cyprus Airways announced its Summer 2020 flight schedule to destinations in Greece, Europe, and the Middle East. According to the announcement, the airline is expanding its Greek islands network.
For Summer 2020, the airline will expand flight choices to Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Santorini, Skiathos and Preveza. With the major connection between Athens and Paphos Airport, the airline is also adding a connection to Tel Aviv in Israel next season.
In Europe, Cyprus Airways will land in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva), in Slovakia (Bratislava and Kosice), in Verona in Italy, and the historic city of Prague in Czech Republic. The airline will maintain its operations to Tel Aviv (Israel) and Beirut (Lebanon) while expanding and connecting with the Egyptian capital of Cairo. Natalia Popova, chief commercial officer of Cyprus Airways, offered this comment via the annoucement:
“Our future is customer-centric, and we see summer 2020 as an opportunity for growth, better connecting our neighborhood with a focus on Greece while adding destinations worth exploring giving broad options for the lifestyle our customer truly values.”
Cyprus Airways said its summer 2020 destinations are meant to cover the needs of the local travelers.
