Construction for Istanbul’s Newest Bridge to Start in May
Seven Turkish banks have agreed to provide the necessary funds to build Istanbul’s third bridge. İbrahim Çeçen, chairman of the IC İçtaş company (part of the winning consortium), announced that the banks will provide USD 2.4 billion over 10 years. The construction is slated to start in May according to the news.

Istanbul To Have a New Urban Area
A new urban area that will soon be home to some 1.5 million people will be built in Istanbul. Officials say the construction for this new area is going to start in the next six months, on the Black Sea coast on the European side of Istanbul, Hurriyet Daily News reported.
