Air Malta has become the first Maltese carrier to have successfully completed the transition to the new European regulations adopting the Safety Management System (SMS). The airline also announced new management today.
Malta Cracks Down on “Irregular” Restaurateurs
In news from Malta, the Tourism Authority there has begun clamping down on the number of illegal restaurants. Already this year the authorities have made 613 inspections, compared with 608 made in all of 2013. Establishments without proper licensing and in breach of other regulations are being forced to either close or remedy their situation.
