Plans for a new international airport in Vrgorac in Dalmatian in Croatia are in wind according to news from Vrgorac. The new airport is reportedly in the early stages of investor planning for the area of Croatia in between Dubrovnik and Split, because of the suitability of the site.

The Croatian Tourism Board (HTZ) is seeking design of a strategic marketing plan for Croatian Tourism for 2014-2020. The board has just tendered a deadline for submissions of bids of May 29th. The project, expected to be valued at just over €500,000 euro.

Croatia Boat Show 2012: Biggest Ever

2012 Croatia Boat Show

Coming later this month, the 14th annual Croatia Boat Show will run from April 17th untol April 22nd in the Dalmatian city of Split. The event will actually be a combination of shows put on by the Croatia Boat Show (CBS), Nauticus Show and Split Auto Show over the five days. It promises to be the biggest nautical event ever in the region, comparable to the Adriatic Boat Show, with a vast array of nautical equipment and crafts on display.
