The Hellenic National Meteorological Center warned that the weather in Central and Northern Greece will worsen Saturday afternoon throughout Sunday as rain and sporadic thunderstorms will hit the areas.
On Saturday, the most affected will be regions in the northern Ionian Sea, Epirus, and possibly Central Greece (Periféreia Stereás Elládas) according to meteorologists.
Starting midday Sunday, rains and thunderstorms are expected in central and western Macedonia, northern Thessaly, and the Sporades archipelago, as well as some of the northern Aegean Islands.
The winds are expected to hit 3-4 on the Beaufort scale and gradually rise to 6 in some of the affected areas.
