Adventur 2017, the only international exhibition of tourism and travel in Lithuania, is at its fifth edition next January.
Mark January 20-22 on your calendars if you are hospitality and tourism pros, and plan a trip to Vilnius, Lithuania’s charming capital, which will host the fifth edition of Adventur, the only international exhibition of tourism, travel and active leisure in the country. The event takes place at Litexpo, the Lithuanian Exhibition Centre, exhibition halls 3, 4, and 5. The event has as central theme “Taste the World. Taste Lithuania.”
Adventur 2017 is well structured, with several important themes, including city tourism, active leisure in Lithuania, countryside tourism, SPAs, health and medical tourism, accommodation, leisure entertainment, adventure parks, fitness centers, tourism and sports inventory, water sports, extreme sports, hunting, fishing, leisure transport, recreational travel, sightseeing trips abroad, individual tourism, culinary tourism, cruises and ferry lines, railway services, and airports and airlines.
There will be events for both B2B companies and for the general public, with food tastings and competitions in Hall 4, as well as live entertainment. Visitors can purchase authentic Lithuanian foods, beverages, and souvenirs.
For businesses, the Lithuanian Business Confederation organizes a forum called The Forum of Cities 2017.
The general public can partake in the traditional Adventur event Travelling is My Lifestyle, featuring Lithuanian personalities passioned about travel sharing private stories, ideas, and itineraries. Under the central theme of Adventur 2017, Taste the World. Taste Lithuania, visitors will discover the culinary heritage of the country, national cuisines, and opportunities for culinary tourism.
For the youngest participants at the exhibition, the Lithuanian Association of Geography Teachers organizes a contest of geographical knowledge, as well as interactive geography lessons and quizzes.
Participating countries at Adventur 2017 include Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Philippines, Greece, Georgia, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and Hungary.
