WIHP Hotels Solves Hotel PPC Pain

World Independent Hotels Promotion (WIHP), in a deal with TripAdvisor, has enhanced their “Show Price” PPC ad capability there by including budgetary control for hoteliers.

There’s an old adage in the startup world that begs entreprenuers the question; “What point of pain does your service solve?” Well, where once independent hotel owners had no TripAdvisor Show Price ad budget cap, now they can set their desired spend limit. WIHP began helping their clients with the “Show Price” platform months ago, but only now can properties set a minimum, and ensure they don’t get a mega bill at month’s end.

Advertising on TripAdvisor has proven effective for tens of thousands of properties these last years. The unique characteristic of enabling independent and small chains gain revenue, being one of TA’s biggest pluses. The leading hotel review site in the world, TripAdvisor is really a crucial visibility conduit for most hoteliers. The 50 million users serviced their each month, a real assurance it’s worthwhile to be seen, etc. The “Show Price” system though, opened new gateways for hoteliers on the one hand, and made a budgetary nightmare on the other. An open budget for TripAdvisor, to be paid at month’s end, proving too costly for some.

WIHP’s tech team provided a solution, paving the way for any hotel owner to use the TripAdvisor tool, while knowing exactly what to expect revenue wise. While WIHP’s news is a small innovative change, the overall effect is huge for the little hotel owner, and for TripAdvisor. The bottom line being; now every hotel can use the tool without fear of month end calamity. WIHP claims that their clients who use the Show Price aspect gain by as much as 13X the ROI using Show Price. That’s a powerful incentive to task TA with your ads.

WIHP just unveiled their Convert hotel website solution at ITB Berlin, and now their suite of tools for hoteliers gets another feature, nice one WIHP.
