taptrip, the most disruptive name in online booking, has entered into a new partnership with the leading corporate travel and events business and pioneers of technology, the ATPI Group, which will roll out in the UK from March 2020, with Benelux, France, India, and Asia set to follow later in the year.
The partnership fuses the most disruptive name in online booking (taptrip) with the global TMC (ATPI), known for its customer-centricity and innovative technology. taptrip and ATPI will offer a strong joint client proposition by redefining the customer experience and travel cost efficiency in the SME space of the corporate travel industry and will together bring a unique and compelling solution to the corporate travel market.
Under the agreement, ATPI’s UK customers will now have full access to taptrip’s award-winning, next-gen online booking tool, allowing the TMC to enhance its already industry-leading levels of customer service and satisfaction. The TMC will also act as the fulfillment partner for all travel bookings made via the taptrip platform, driving a significant travel volume into the high-growth start-up. Neil Ruth, COO, taptrip said:
“92% of the SME market is under-represented and serviced poorly when it comes to travel management. SMEs rarely understand or know what a travel policy is or that one can save them time and money as well as increase customer satisfaction and employee acquisition and retention. As a result, business travel management offers an unrivaled opportunity for savings, efficiency and productivity improvements. “
Ruth went on to describe how taptrip is leading this charge by doing things differently, making the enforcement of travel policies, expense tracking and managing business travel, as easy as using Netflix. This partnership with ATPI is an exciting validation of our approach. And Adam Knights, Regional Manager Director UK, Benelux & France, ATPI offered this:
“ATPI has a proven track record of embracing innovation to help businesses maximize value and return on business travel. We are now set to offer our SME clients access to this new generation online booking tool, delivering them an even higher level of customer experience and travel savings opportunities. This partnership will not only make it even easier and more rewarding to book online, but also enable us to access the small and medium enterprises and high growth start-ups using taptrip.”
The ATPI executive went on to discuss how the volume of unmanaged travel currently within the SME market, this is a great opportunity for ATPI to continue to grow our share and also further realize our own ambitions for the continued development of our technology portfolio.
Following this agreement, strategic partnerships with other TMCs will forge part of taptrip’s growth strategy. This will enable more TMCs to reach the SME market, with a platform that meets their needs whilst removing barriers to entry.
