Coming to Poland’s capital March 17th through 29th the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw invites the best in the world to a cultural and artistic event to remember. Initiated by the wife of legendary Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki, Elzbieta Penderecka’s event is now one of Europe’s most anticipated festivals.
Earlier this month works of Poland’s celebrated sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz went on exhibit in Warsaw. Made up of mostly never before seen pieces, the exhibit at Warsaw’s House of Plastic Arts Gallery represents the latest revelation of the talents of the now prized artist.
