SnapShot launched its third and most significant phase as a company, deploying the first hospitality data platform independent of brand or software providers.
“We’ve been working on this launch since 2012 when the company was founded. Creating the architecture and building a platform that is already scaling globally to enterprise clients has taken a lot of work,” said co-founder David Turnbull. “We are really proud of what we’ve built, and now, as one of the largest hospitality data processors in the world, we’re ready to enter a whole new phase as a company in the industry.”
SnapShot’s Hospitality Data Platform is unique in that it isn’t tied to a specific brand or software provider. This means that every hospitality company, hotel, or hotel chain can adopt it as a solution that will collect and harmonize their data independently and securely.
“We believe this is a huge step for the industry,” said Carson Booth, SnapShot’s recently appointed CEO. “CIOs for hotel brands and hospitality technology consultants have been wanting a neutral and standard data platform for years, SnapShot has built it, and it is now available for all hotel groups and chains.”
With data from over 6000 hotels secure on the platform and more than 45 PMS and data partners, the platform has already proved itself a robust and secure solution. With the opening of the Data Platform to enterprise clients, we’re bringing together our three pillars of Analytics, Marketplace and Data Platform.
Founded in 2012 with the vision to build the hospitality’s premier data platform independent of any brand or software provider, SnapShot is now one of the largest hospitality data processors in the world, managing transactional data of over 6,000 independent and branded hotels worldwide, with over 45 different connected PMS systems, and growing. With the release of the Hospitality Data Platform, SnapShot enters its third phase, which brings forward its founding vision: a secure data platform, visualization capabilities, and marketplace.
