MCR Development LLC announced on Friday their having acquired 1o Hilton and Marriott hotels from Skye Hospitality. With a total of 1,294 rooms, the portfolio is made up of primarily newer hotels, according to the company’s press.
The hotels, to be managed by MCR Property Management, reside in the Baltimore marketing in the US. The areas included are: Arundel Mills , Downtown Baltimore / Camden Yards, Hunt Valley, and White Marsh. The hotels will remain branded under the Marriott and Hilton names. Tyler Morse , MCR’s Chief Executive Officer, offered this statement in addition:
“This portfolio is a great addition to MCR and we are excited about the opportunity to expand our relationship with Marriott and Hilton. This investment, along with our four earlier acquisitions this year, underscores our commitment to strategically and opportunistically acquiring quality hotel properties in high barrier to entry markets.”
