At an event organized by Mouzenidis Travel Polska, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) presented Halkidiki’s tourism value to some 30 leading Polish tour operators.
According to the news from GTP, many of Poland’s major tour operators including Travelplanet, Echo Travel, TUI, Wakacje and My Travel attended the event. The head of the GNTO office in Poland, Nikoletta Nikolopoulou offered this:
“Halkidiki and Greece [in general] can offer its visitors unforgettable experiences not only in the summer but during the whole year.”
The report also tells of Greece being the first choice of travel for Polish nationals this year, which is a continuation of last year’s successes. More than 1 million Polish travelers visited Greece in 2018.
During the event, the Polish tour operators also had the opportunity to watch the award-winning video of GNTO titled, “Greece – A 365-day destination” (above), and receive printed information on Halkidiki.
The beaches of Halkidiki are some of the most pristine anywhere in the world. The region is famous for unspoiled landscapes as well as culinary and other festive attributes. Halkidiki was awarded 92 Blue Flags in 2019.
At the aforementioned event, tour operators had brunch in the especially designed “Greek Corner”, which featured Greek traditional products and flavors.
Founded back in 1995, Mouzenidis Travel has become the leader of sending Polish travelers to Greece. The company has branch offices in Athens, Riviera Olympus, Crete, the Peloponnese, Thessaloniki, and the many Greek Islands.
