The Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its Maltese Member Public Broadcasting Services Ltd (PBS) have announced that the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place this November in Malta. PBS is slated to host the event in November, in the capital of Valletta.

La Tomatina Festival Starts This Week
This week the city of Buñol in Spain turns completely red with the annual La Tomatina Festival. The world’s biggest tomato fight this year starts August 27th.
Opera Festival Finland 2014
Olavinlinna castle (Olavinlinna) in the city of Savonlinna in the east of Finland, will be transformed into a theater stage this month. Performers from around the world will appear at the Opera Festival this year until August 2nd.
