One of Estonia’s most popular touristic attractions, Balloon Tallinn, will now stay aloft year round. The highest viewing platform in the city, will now be the first of it’s kind year round northern attraction.
Launched back in June, Balloon Tallinn has welcomed some 2100 passenger flights since the start of summer, and now the operators have decided to keep the flights in operation. The Fall season will see balloon rides over the city limited to weekends from 10 until 8 at night. Christmas, New Years Eve and additional flights will also be added to weekday schedules too. Winter flights will be made possible and safer via a “snow cap” atop the balloon to prevent accumulation.
The helium filled viewing platform flies at a height of 120 meters above Tallinn’s streets, affording passengers an unparalelled view of that beautiful “post card” city. For more information about Balloon Tallinn, please visit the link provided.
