The Romanian Tourism Fair – 14-17 March, 2013 – will reveal the country’s best tourist destinations for 2013, and a wealth of developments planned for the near future in the industry.
According to news from Romania, the star destination of the fair will be the seaside at the Black Sea, as resorts here will offer discount rates of up to 40% on travel packages purchased on the spot. Most likely, the top packages sold at the event will be offers for Easter and May 1st, which, in some cases, also include free Easter meals and other surprises.
Also Suceava, the pearl of Bukovina, will be presenting offers for spending the Easter holidays in Suceava County. Here visitors can admire the city of Suceava with its medieval fortifications, the famous painted churches of northern Moldavia (Voroneţ, Putna, Moldoviţa, Humor, etc), the medieval salt mine of Cacica, and the popular Vatra Dornei spa and ski resort. For those who cannot spend their holidays in Suceava, the city still has a few surprises at the fair: visitors visitors will be offered to taste traditional products of Bukovina, while and Florin Bejinari, a craftsman from Rădăuţi will show the Romanian art of decorating Easter eggs.
Last year, the Romanian Tourism Fair was attended by 25,000 visitors who bought packages for about 10 million euros. This year, the organizers expect an attendance of 30,000 visitors, and hope to sell packages for more than 12 million euros. The fair will offer everything from last minute deals to, cruises, exotic holidays, city breaks, beach holidays, rural tourism, cultural tours, airline tickets, travel insurance and more.
