Aiming to make Antalya a diving center and to improve underwater sports, The Shipping Trade Chamber (DTO) Antalya Branch announced big plans for the city: to launch an underwater museum.
You’ve probably heard about the famous underwater museum in the Caribbean Sea. Well, Turkey wants to have a similar museum in its part of the world. This could be yet another interesting tourist attraction in this country.
According to DTO Antalya Branch Chairman İnanç Kendiroğlu, the museum will highlight the potential of underwater tourism in Antalya and will bring Turkey in another age from this point of view. The proposal seems to have generated interest, as at an official event, Kendiroğlu said that the agency is “positive” about the project.
