High up in the mountains of Krasnodar Krai the cable car to the ski slopes of Rosa Khutor are running wide open. The resort resumed operation with the first guests of the season arriving via cableways “Olympia”, “Forest”, “Conversation”, and “Chalet”.
The Winter season of the resort sees three new cars startup, they are:”The Dryad” and “Tundra”, and the chairlift “Edelweiss” aon the southern slope. The resort will offer an additional 17 kilometers of new ski slopes, and the total ski area will exceed 94 kilometers this year. So the launch of the new lifts will significantly reduce the queue and make the guests wait times significantly less.
December 24, the resort will host the traditional holiday, the Day of Rosa Khutor dedicated to the beginning of the ski season. The holiday offers fun for the whole family entertainment for adults and children, various competitions and quizzes, a Christmas lottery, Rosa Khutor Quest and the election of the Mayor of the resort.
This fabulous resort developed for the Sochi 2014 Olympics has made the European ski map widen.
