22 hours ago a boutique travel agency in the UK posted a “Santorini Crazy Deal” to their 29,000 plus followers on Facebook. Nassa Travel is now a trend in the UK, and for good reason. Anyone who ever wanted paradise on a budget now has a last-minute agent.
Here’s the gist of the deal that caught my eye. The Santorini Crazy Deal is for May 2nd, 2020, 7 self-catered nights at Villa Eleftheria Hotel, with flights from Gatwick and transfers included. Get this, it’s only £325pp with 20 kilos of luggage included. Here, let me embed their deal…
Here’s the thing, the post already has 120 comments and 9 shares. But Nassa is not relying on just their social media prowess to capture more market. The boutique agency has announced expanding to Cardiff with a second shop now.
The company begun by Jayde Nassa, which started trading through online channels about four years ago, opened its first brick and mortar shop back in 2017. Having worked for Thomas Cook for a decade, Nassa told reporters recently she intends opening a third shop in 2020.
What’s fascinating for me is the fact Nassa and her team have been too busy to even put up a native website. The domain is docked, but there is no site up to date. The fact makes me wonder, “Is this the wave of future travel bookings?” I mean, if the conventional way is empowered like this with social and local, why can’t Nassa and others supplant TUI and the rest?
Look, Nassa Travel currently has a 5-of-5 rating from 189 people on Facebook. Here’s one:
It looks like conventional travel agents are back strong. I’m looking forward to seeing what else this innovative team comes up with. You gotta like when face-to-face puts on its Facebook makeup.
Oh, and check out the 5 nights in Vegas at the MGM Grand for £589pp, or two weeks in Cuba for £799pp with flight. Stop me, I’m going coo-coo here. Hey, one more, £309pp for two weeks in Corfu! Hey, that’s here in Greece!
Hey Jayde, how bout hooking your clients up with my pal Rebecca? She’s the most gifted tours person on Santorini or in Greece. Sorry, I have to plug Rebecca every chance I get. The best is the best, after all, and sweet deals can always get sweeter.
