Guests will be able to stroll around Rokka and Kera in a special thematic interactive experience created and supervised by the artist, Georgina Drakouli-Solo. With the use of individual sound devices, the spectators will perform a mystagogical walk full of sounds and light just before the musical concert of Foivos Delivorias and his company.
Begun back in 2013, the Giortes Rokkas 2019 will transport guests through the nearby villages to hear the stories, listen to the songs, and to catch a whisper of the mystique this part of Crete island holds. Set to begin under the full August moon, Giortes Rokkas will entail not only music, theater, new technologies, and visual arts, but educational workshops supported by local collectivities, travel agents, other Greek cities, and internationally renowned artists, boosting the extraversion of the events, thus creating a network of communication and collaborations.
