The Digital Marketing Academy for Hospitality (DMAH) has been launched to serve tourism professionals in Greece and Cyprus. According to the news, this is the first-ever academy for tourism marketing ever undertaken in Greece.
The new academy, which is a synergy between the StudySmart training organization, Greek digital marketing agency Nelios and the Cyprus International Institute of Management, will address the unmet potential of digital marketing skills of Greek tourism professionals. Nelios CEO Dimitris Serifis offered this statement:
“The changes that tourism has gone through in recent years mark the beginning of a new era in which hoteliers must change the way they do business and finally take the concept of ‘digital’ more seriously and incorporate it into their strategies so they can see more profit.”
Mr. Selfis says there’s a huge gap in education surrounding advanced technology, sales, and the use of modern tools for marketing tourism that needs closing. He says DMAH can help close this gap.
DMAH, in partnership with tourism professionals and under the authorization of the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), will offer a certification that gives the opportunity to professionals to apply dynamic digital marketing practices for boosting services and profit. According to Mr. Selfis:
“The DMAH certificate is the first worldwide certificate for digital marketing in hospitality which is internationally recognized and carried out by market practitioners.”
The 60-hour DMAH program is open to professionals and entrepreneurs taking their first steps in the tourism industry. The program covers all digital marketing aspects. The program begins in November in Athens, and then January to February 2020 in Limassol, Cyprus. For more info, contact DMAH at info@dmh.academy or call 6937280440.
