If it is something different you seek for the Fall family vacation then BUSTER Film Festival 2012 in Copenhagen might be the perfect getaway. This 12th edition running from today through September 23rd promises a universe of award winning films for kids from around the world.
For those unfamiliar, BUSTER is a film and digital media event that shows off the best in animation, children’s shorts, and full length feature films tuned to kids and teens, but suitable and enjoyable for adults as well. Some 130 titles ensure there’ll be something enchanting for everyone in the family to enjoy, and best of all in one of Europe’s most fascinating destinations.
BUSTER is not just about sitting back and watching, the importance of ‘learning by doing’ is emphasized throughout the program of events. Workshops offer children a rare chance to explore the art of film-making in topics from 3D animation to screnography and even acting methodology. Film music, game production and other topics will be covered this year. 11 days of film celebration kick off with a red carpet gala event and the world premier of Marco Macaco (trailer above).
