The Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) has forwarded Proclamation 3K/2026 to the National Printing Office, announcing 43 permanent positions within the Civil Aviation Authority.
The specialty in question concerns Electronic Engineers for Air Traffic Safety — a role that, in theory, requires serious technical competence and, in practice, carries serious responsibility for the smooth functioning of airport systems.
Naturally, interest is expected to be high.
Six Positions in Crete
Crete receives six of the 43 posts.
At Heraklion International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis,” five positions are available:
- Three requiring prior experience
- Two positions are open to candidates without experience
At Sitia Airport “Vitsentzos Kornaros,” one position is available for experienced candidates.
Permanent positions. In Civil Aviation. On an island where airport infrastructure is not exactly a decorative accessory.
