Yesterday Orbitz released their Orbitz Flights, Hotels, Cars app for iPad. The tool lets consumers search and book across the three major commodities of interest to most travelers. Planes, cars and hotels pretty much cover the gambit of services people need from an app, and Obrbiz’s “App Store Hall of Fame” iPhone experience has now been carried over onto the world’s favorite tablet.

Despite the fact the marketing people at Orbitz actually used terms like “seamlessly” in their promotion of this app, the award winning ease for which the iPhone app is so noted, does appear to translate well over the the tablet.
