The world’s largest independent hotel group, Magnuson Hotels, has just announced free property management systems (PMS) to hotels that convert to Magnuson’s low cost franchising brand.
Magnuson Hotels now offers PMS1, a free web based operating system that ties front desk, reservation system and brand into one low cost and easy to use mobile and Internet dashboard. Unlike typical PMS systems, Magnuson’s variant is free compared with competitor versions that can cost tens of thousands over the course. Hotel owners using PMS1 are also supported by a .99 USD per occupied room guest surcharge, and a cash-back rebate to hotels converting to Magnuson’s low cost franchise conversion brands.
According to the Magnuson release the PMS1 offer is a 24/7 support affair that connects directly to Magnuson Hotels’ global hotel reservation network of Google Hotel Finder, 2000 airline and Hotel booking sites, and 650,000 travel agents and corporate travel agencies.
PMS1 will also offer mobile and remote access reporting, that includes daily dashboard updates showing rooms sold, occupancy, source of booking, and average daily room rate all via the same user interface.
