Still going on this week, the 83rd edition of the Geneva International Motor Show shows off the wares of some 130 premiers to be debuted nowhere else. The world’s auto manufacturers are letting it all hang out this year, with technologies and style you won’t believe.
Among the revelations in hardware on wheels already unveiled, the LeFerrari is something out of an auto enthusiast’s lucid dream. As you can see from the images released below, the world’s most famous sports car manufacturer still has a lot of style and engineering up their sleeves.
Just to peak your interest, the drive-train stats below tell of a customarily powerful new machine:
“The LaFerrari is the first car in Ferrari history to be powered by the HY-KERS system. The ICE represents the pinnacle of engine development and research, with a 6262 cc V12 that punches out 800 CV and revs to a maximum of 9,250 rpm, a record for an engine of this displacement. It also features a very high 13.5:1 compression ratio and a high specific output equal to 128 CV per litre. The engine is coupled with a 120 Kw (163 CV) electric motor, giving it a combined power output of 963 CV.”Other auto wonders unveiled so far include; the already legendary Rolls-Royce Wraith, the Fifth Generation of the 911 GT3 Porsche, and many many others. The hottest cabrio rides to the coolest sport utility concepts such as the Nissan Ressonance pictured above, Geneva’s Motor Show is one of a kind, and the place to be. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. Beside the LeFerrari so called Hypercar, there is the McLaren P1, perhaps the beauty of this car ball. The video below from Drive, tells the story on that and the show too.
