Booking.com Launches Startup Accelerator

Today Booking.com announced the launch of a new accelerator program, Bookingcom Booster, designed to jump start innovation. The new 3-week program gives startups the chance to pitch for grants of up to €500, 000 euro.

Booking.com, the global leader travel bookings, seems all set to mentor enterprising travel startups that could impact the industry. Gillian Tans, CEO of Booking.com offered this comment via the company’s press:

“At Booking.com, our mission is to empower people to experience more of the world. There are thousands of beautiful, unique destinations to explore in every corner of the globe, but that’s not something we should take for granted. Through Booking.com Booster, we want to help ventures in sustainable tourism accelerate their growth in order tomaximizee the impact they can have globally.”

The 3-week programme takes place in June 2017 in Amsterdam and is aimed at startups focused on sustainable tourism. For more information about the Booking.com Booster Programme, including details on how to apply, please visit booking.com/booster. Booking.com is accepting applications from interested startups from across the world until March 1, 2017.
