If you live in Canada, or anywhere else on the planet, and you receive a job offer from Argophilia Company, Argophilia, Argophilia.ca CALL the local POLICE and report it. It will be a scam.
Unscrupulous people hijacked our brand, duplicated our sites ENTIRELY, and copied all our content without permission. We are currently taking legal steps, but such things take time. In the meanwhile, keep in mind the following: Argophilia.com with all its .com subsidiaries is NOT a company, but just a travel news site. NOT a company.
Argophilia DOES NOT hire people.
Argophilia DOES NOT need your financial information. We don’t need clerks, we don’t do online payments, donations or any other schemes that involve any type of currency, including bitcoin. We are travel writers. WRITERS! Not travel agents, not a tour company. We are WRITERS. We have NO jobs for anyone.
All articles on our site are submitted by VOLUNTEERS who are NOT paid for them.
Argophilia.com was created to relate about Eastern Europe. We have never registered the .ca domain. The people behind that domain will send you a job offer, with a contract that requires your banking information, for the purpose of sending you “donations” via money transfer (Interac system), wire transfer or ACH Direct Payments. Do not give them your information. Do not sign the contract. Call the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP; French: Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC), “Royal Gendarmerie of Canada”; colloquially known as the Mounties, and internally as “the Force”) They have a department dealing exclusively with scams like this. We, Argophilia.com, CANNOT help you.
