Mayor of Viannos Pavlos Baritakis emphasized that the gathering has quickly evolved into an indispensable cultural anchor for the municipality. Beyond its rich historical legacy, Viannos relies on its agricultural backbone, anchored firmly by its olive groves.
“Viannos, famous for its history and culture, is equally renowned for its primary sector,” Mayor Baritakis noted. “One of our premier products is olive oil, to which the 3rd Olive & Olive Oil Festival is dedicated. It highlights our product while honoring the roots and traditions of our home. The municipal authority stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our olive growers, supporting them and the supreme quality oil they harvest.”
