Reykjavik, the beautiful Icelandic capital, will celebrate jazz this Summer with some of the world’s most renowned jazz musicians.
The 25th annual edition of the Reykjavik Jazz Festival will last a week, and will take place at the Harpa Concert Hall (on Austurbakki 2). The festival gives visitors the opportunity to see live, in concert, outstanding performers and bands such as Chris Speed, The Pedrito Martinez Group, Polish violin virtuoso Adam Baldych, The Thing, Iceland’s own jazz quartet, AdHd, and many others.
Concerts will take place outdoors, and at the main Eldborg hall. On the first day of the festival, there will be a jazz parade, at 5:00 pm, beginning at Lucky Records and ending at Harpa Concert Hall. The opening ceremony starts at 19:00.
