Tonight, May 26 the Grand Finale of the 2012 Eurovosion Song Contest is taking place in Azerbaijan. Baku Crystal Hall has already been dressed in its gala outfit for the last event, in order to welcome with great fanfare this year’s best 26 musical performances. Each of the countries will perform for the title of Winner of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
Hosted by the same enchanting presenters: Leyla Aliyeva, Eldar Gasimov and Nargiz Birk-Petersen, the live show starts at 9 p.m. CET. Millions of viewers from all over the 42 countries qualified in this year’s edition of Eurovision have the chance to vote.
Although the dices are already half thrown as juries from all the 42 participating countries have voted their preferences on yesterday’s dress rehearsal, the final outcome will be again determined by way of a 50/50 split between televoting and national expert juries. Returning to the 15-minute window format, both phone and SMS lines will be open after all songs have been performed.
This evening, The Big Five – UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the host country Azerbaijan will go on the stage along with the 20 countries qualified after the two semi-finals. Choose your favorites, watch, vote. Now enjoy beauty and talent from Cyprus :).
