I tried the Couples’ Velvet Hot Stone Massage at Velvet and it was the best 90 minutes in my crazy week. If you are traveling and your schedule allows it, try to make an appointment earlier in the day, when it’s not crowded at all and you can have the entire spa personnel attending to your every need! Evenings and weekends are usually fully booked, but then again, nothing beats an evening of a couples’ massage, followed by a candle light dinner and a quiet evening back in your hotel room!
Speaking of dinner, if you’re hungry after your massage, explore the many restaurants and pizza places around the Regie campus. They serve great food in large portions and at prices students can afford. While at it, don’t miss out the famous Gigantic Pancakes just across the street from the spa!
