Crete Island is to be the backdrop for a huge two-week visibility campaign for the all-new Skoda Octavia campaign starting in mid-March, 2020.

Starting in March the automotive world comes to Crete island via the global driving presentation of the new Skoda Octavia. Hundreds of journalists from dozens of countries will be in Heraklion and northern Crete for two weeks carrying the car news to the world.

Apart from the hundreds of media, organizers, and managers of Skoda in Europe, along with those of the Greek importing company Kosmocar, will descend on the paradise isle just before the official tourism season for the promotional activities.

Kosmocar says they are determined to reach a global audience with the launch of the Skoda Octavia in Crete. In the recent past, companies such as Renault, BMW, Porsche, and Hyundai have also chosen Greece for the international press presentations, while the Land Rover has also planned the global media presentation of the new Range Rover Evoque from 9-31 March 2020 in Porto Heli.

For Skoda, it’s not the first time in Greece, since the worldwide audience considers the country a romantic and exotic destination. As for the all-new Octavia, the auto is the cornerstone of the new era of the Skoda and the model with the greatest commercial success in the company’s history. A total of 6.5 million copies have been sold worldwide.

People on Crete will get a good look at the brand-new Skoda Octavias via a total of eighty-press cars, with forty support vehicles slated for the events to be conducted over 15 days from the most exciting spots of the island.

This fourth-generation model, of which the first global press presentation will be held in Crete, will be available in versions Grand Coupe (πεντάθυρη three variants), and Sportswagon models.
