London Olympics: Latest Travel Advice

An avalanche of tourists is expected to hit London this Summer for the Olympic Games. Hotels and airports are expecting to be deluged by almost 9 million visitors eager to welcome the world famous Olympic Flame.

This week, the Associated Press announced that four of the country’s most important airlines were overwhelmed with requests, meaning that London’s hub airports could easily become overcrowded, making re-booking a real challenge, while new bookings will probably be out of the question.

Officials from the London Olympic Committee recommend that all travelers who intend to visit the British capital during the games start planning their trip as soon as possible.
