The Hellenic Jet Sports Boating Association, in cooperation with the global association ”Jet Raid,” has launched a unique sporting competition. The competition kicked off last weekend, continues through June 8th with 35 jet ski athletes from 15 countries competing.

Most of the world’s jet ski competitions are organized on safe, enclosed courses, while very few are held in open water. This most recent development sees enthusiasts and athletes enjoying the amazing Isthmus of Corinth and its extraordinary surrounds.

Organizers say other destinations that the athletes have visited or are expected to visit soon include Nafplion, Corinth, Aegina, the Alcyon islands, Nafpaktos and others.

This iteration of the race will culminate next Sunday, after the first jet ski drivers pass in between Loutraki, Corinth, Corinth Isthmus, Aegina, Agistri, Ombrios, Alkyonides, Nafpaktos, Iraio Petrahoras Loutrakiou and Sarantis of Boeotia.

“Jet Raid” is a jet ski competition established back in 1998 by Nassogne Patrick. The Hellenic Jet-ski Sport & Boating Association is the main partner and collaborator of Jet Raid in the Greek event taking place this year.

The Greek branch of the association was founded in 2008 by athletes who compete with motorized water vehicles (Jet skis).
