Several Airlines Announce Flights to Heraklion and other Destinations

Belavia, ICAR, TAROM, Germanwings, and Swiss International Air Lines are some of the airlines that will now fly to Heraklion, from several destinations, as follows:

Belavia flies from Minsk to Bulgaria (Burgas, Varna), Turkey (Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman, Izmir), Italy (Bari, Catania), Greece (Thessaloniki, Corfu, Araxos, Zakynthos, #Heraklion, Rhodes, Kos), Spain (Palma de Mallorca), Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh), Montenegro (Podgorica, Tivat), Croatia (Pula) and from Brest to Bulgaria (Burgas) and Turkey (Antalya).

ICAR will soon commence flights between Murmansk and the Cretan capital, Heraklion, among other European destinations.

TAROM also introduced new flights from Iasi, Romania to Zakynthos, Heraklion and Rhodos.

Low cost carrier Germanwings started to cater to passengers at the Düsseldorf airport on Sunday, March 30. Its first flight was to Palma de Mallorca. The airline also announced its summer timetable, with flights between Dusseldorf and Heraklion, Thessaloniki, Stockholm, Bilbao, Dublin, Leipzig, Milan, Prague, Turin, Venice, Warsaw, Basel, Dresden, Geneva, Barcelona, ​​Lyon, Madrid and Nuremberg.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced its summer flights too, which will now include flights from Geneva, Switzerland to Heraklion Airport.
