Amongst some of the most fun living people, you’re bound to fall in love with their culture and the places to visit. The Lake of Balaton

One of the most popular places in Hungary is the lake of Balaton. It is probably the very obvious entries on the list of destinations as it is one of the biggest lakes in the central Europe with numerous villages scattered on the edges; the village and the villagers cater a lot to the tourists with the tiny Tihany and the beautiful Benedictine Abbey.

History in the town of Pecs

You will find this town towards the Croatian border which is one of the popular destinations in Hungary if you are looking for a cultural and a historical site. This place was also elected as one of the capitals of Europe for its immense culture in the year 2010.

The river of Danube

Another highlight in Hungary is the river of Danube which is located in Budapest. You can take a cruise to this river; it takes you from Germany to Hungary and is worth the time. Taking a cruise lets you see some of the most unique spots in Budapest, you’d love yourself for having chosen to come here!

One of the finest museums in Hungary is located in the city of Budapest. The museum is a live explanation of occupation of people living in Hungary over the many years and also has exhibits of the communist times that this country experienced.

Another place in the west of Hungary marked for its heritage buildings of the medieval era is the Sopron. Some of the other highlights here are the Storno House, Gothic Goat church and the Firewatch tower.

If you are looking for a town with major resorts, then Keszthely is the right place for you. This town resort is near the Lake Balaton; it is rather calm and a cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere and an easy access to any water activities.

When in Hungary, taking a dip in the Heviz Baths, north west of Hungary becomes a MUST-DO. The pool is thermally heated and is consistently warm throughout the year. Its a great place to laze around and feel the luxuries of life kiss your skin!

Music in Resck

What works better than a nice and soothing music to relax to? The vineyards with a large selection of wines for tasting pulls a lot of crowd too! There is a small town in Resck which is known for its entertainment activities lined up for people coming to taste their wines. Pretty impressive if you ask me!

Siofok Party

Siofok is yet another famous summer destination for young people as it lines of some of the most energetic and young nightclubs to party at. It is a resort town around the Lake Balaton. Get to experience great fun while you enjoy letting your hair down with your friends.

There are many caves that you can explore in Hungary. The cave of Baradla is one of the caves located in the Aggtelek National park, north east to Hungary. Love caves? Love noticing the natural beauties behind the giant mystery dens? You know where to go!

This festival runs for a week and has the participation of famous singers and bands that jazz up the complete atmosphere of the place!

When you travel between Budapest and Bratislava in a train, you are definite to see the twin towns of Komarno(which is on the Slovak side) and Komarom(which is on the Hungarian side).
