Works of Christel van Hemelrijck on Exhibit at Art Flow Studio & Gallery

From the “Stories about travelers” exhibition

For art lovers adventuring in Crete, the works of Christel van Hemelrijck resonates through an exhibition “Stories of Travelers.”

Beginning June 4th at 19:00 at Art Flow Studio & Gallery in wonderful Paleochora on Crete’s south coast, art enthusiasts can embrace the artist’s unique gift of expressing presence, place, and belonging.

From the 4th through the 19th, visitors are welcome to view, and even to purchase these stunning works. Also, Tuesdays through Sundays, the exhibition will be open for private morning appointments.

Christel van Hemelrijck has revisited the principles of form and instant communication in these works, which utilize the flat expanses of color, with central shapes expressing the artist’s delicate temperament. The shapes and forms in these works are anticipatory, eager to instill a sense of motion, speed, and flow that momentary experiences possess.

There will also be refreshments and live music at the showings.

Art Flow Studio Gallery is on the Harbour – Limani, Paleochora, in the far south of Chania Prefecture.
