Stay WordPress Theme for Hotels Helps You Attract more Guests

There are many good WordPress themes for hotels, but the best of all, without any doubt, is Stay. This is a responsive theme, designed with hotels, inns, and bed & breakfasts in mind. And best of all, it is free. To make the offer even sweeter, WordPress also launched a special support site, showcasing the theme’s main features, and how other hotels are already using it.

Take Lake Crest Inn, a boutique property in Lake George, New York. The inn has a beautiful web presence, with catching visuals, which show off the property’s unique amenities and breathtaking surrounding landscape. The images are big, eye catching, conveying a memorable experience right from the moment the guest lands on the site. The only downside is that the reservation widget is “hidden” on secondary pages. And unfortunately, the reservations widget only allows users to inquire availability, but not to book a room straight from your site, which means that you still need to integrate third party tools and pay commissions to retain guests.

Adding contact information, with large maps, is a breeze. The map widget pulls in Google Maps data, allowing guests to clearly see the exact location of your property. You can add more “how to find us” details under the map, to make it easier for the guests to find your hotel.

The theme enables you to include details about attractions in your neighborhood, and even to feature a news area to keep guests up-to-date with your latest specials, and package deals. And what would a modern site be without social links? These can be set in the footer of your site, with the theme’s Customizer UI.

Considering that it is free to download and use, and has some excellent features, Stay wordpress theme is appealing for many independent hotels. But there’s a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to the reservations widget, a mere contact form now. For hoteliers looking for a good theme, with integrated sales tools and dedicated marketing service, WIHP’s Convert may be the best answer. This, however, is not free. Yet the benefits will make it all worth it.
